We establish social, cultural and commercial links with towns and cities. Members are encourage to visit their “twin” community.
The North West Twinning Federation coordinates the work of over 30 Twinning Associations in Cumbria, Lancashire, Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire. We have an annual conference and circulate regular News Letters.
Twinning promotes understanding and cooperation between communities in Europe and other parts of the world.
